Since 1973 The Tibetan studies program at UVA has graduated no less than sixty PhD students. The research conducted by these scholars represents a significant contribution to our knowledge of Tibetan history, philosophy, literature, and culture. This research is first represented in the dissertations that these scholars produced as graduate students.
